Hello. I just wanted to say thank you for - and compliment you on - your tremendous channel. I started out playing D&D in the 1970's, but ended up having no one to play with, so I have been playing adventure video games for many years instead. I have owned consoles for some time, but haven't had a gaming PC in years - the cost being prohibitive for me - and while I was vaguely aware that CPRG games existed on PC, I hadn't realised that they were available on consoles these days. I'm not sure how that fact managed to pass me by, but it was obviously impossible to avoid hearing about Baldur's Gate III - no matter how far under a rock I was - and it was such a fantastic experience when I played it recently, not least because I felt like things had come full circle, with me finally being able to play D&D again, the very thing which got me into adventure video games.
But I'm rambling! As I do...
The point is that after Baldur's Gate III, I started to wonder if I should play Baldur's Gate I and II, which led me to your channel, which in turn led me to discover the availability of CPRG games on console. Then, thanks to your "Ranking The 55 CRPGs I've Reviewed" video, I bit the bullet and bought Warhammer 40, 000 Rogue Trader, and I am absolutely loving that game. I now have both Pathfinder games in my library, and I am looking around for a good deal on both of the Divinity games (I figure it will take me a while to get through the ones I already have, so I have time to wait for the right price).
Your videos are very informative, and you offer options that allow people to get either brief summary, or a very detailed breakdown, depending on what they need and want. Your channel is very well done and has already helped me out a great deal, which I really appreciate Thank You...

Thanks for the highlights Mort, you've put Flintlock back on my watchlist for the near future. No Rest for the Wicked also looks amazing!

I'm thrilled about Entoria since it's developed and takes place in my country, Italy 😊

- Finally a release window for Flintlock! Hope they used the extra time wisely.
- The art style of Enotria is based on Commedia dell'arte which the Carnival of Venice is also based on.
- Really looking forward to Outlaws. The SW universe is SO vast and anything Force related is such a tiny part of it. When I run Star Wars as a tabletop RPG, it's always stories about everyone else. I'm a bit sad that the protagonist is human and not one of the myriad of other species. I just hope the gameplay is good and doesn't just turn out to be another Far Cry reskin like the Avatar gaem. A true open world/galaxy RPG with custom character creation set in the Star Wars universe has been a long dream of mine but I guess this won't be it. Presumably the story will take you to a series of systems and won't let you stray too far from a specific region or hyperspace lane. Imagine a galaxy like Starfield's but with each planet having actual locations like the ones in Jedi Fallen Order and Survivor. A Pathfinder/BG3 style CRPG would also be amazing.

Worshippers of Cthulu looks like a blast.

I wish Star wars would have smaller studios making games on the franchise, not just EA and Ubisoft (and David Cage for some reason). That way we could have different genres.

I'm really intrigued by Indika. I got the demo during Steam nexfest but unfortunately my laptop, which was never the best, crapped out so i only got to sample ia tiny bit properly. What i did was interesting though. That and Harold Halibut (which also unfortunately i couldn't play past the first bit) were two of the real standouts for me.

6:28 Fantastic timing with that "stick the landing" comment 😂

Soulslike fatigue? Never, if they slowed down the pace it would be easier for me to 100% them though

Nothing that really stands out here except for maybe Worshippers of Cthulhu. But who knows. There are so many Cthulhu games that are just some other game, but with tentacles.

As usual, you filled my wishlist with games I didn't know I needed to play. Thanks I guess? :)

No Rest for the Wicked reminds me of Stories:Path of Destines with a darker look and Still Wakes the Deep reminds me of Cryostasis without the cold and of the TV series The Rig.

I'm definitely looking forward to Outlaws, Broken Roads [Steam updated the release date April 10th] and College Football 25. O sorry, wrong channel.

I like the concept of Outlaws not being Jedi/Sith focused. Not sure it's enough to interest me though.

Oh I'm keeping my eye on Flintlock and No rest for the wicked. The latter looks so good and as for Flintlock, I'm very interested in seeing what the rythmic movement aspect will pan out. It sound quite interesting

I'm jazzed that Hauntii, Indika, and Harold Halibut all got release dates on this show. They all had demos that blew me away. No Rest for the Wicked and Enotria: The Last Song look like easy buys, but Flintlock's marketing is killing me. I thought we would finally get a release date.
