Resident Evil 7 - How to solve the yard puzzle (hidden projector)?

This video shows how to solve the puzzle in the yard. It's the one with the projector hidden behind the bushes. You can't complete it until you've found the snake key. Once you got it go to floor 2F of the main house and open the kid's room. Interact with the lamp to unlock access to the attic and find a toy axe there. Return to the yard and locate the projector behind the bushes. Use the axe and rotate it so that it looks like number 7. As a reward for solving this puzzle you'll get a stabilizer (reduced reload time).

can't believe I never found this, and to think.. I thought the wooden axe and shotgun was just toys laying there lol

Thanks for the info. I was worried I'd need to use the lantern as well and I didnt take the toy weapons....didn't think I would need them as inventory space is tight sometimes. Being they were counting odds I knew I needed a "7" shape, I was wracking my brain for the item.

I was about to progress through the keycards door but I just had to see if that hatchet was used for that, and of course it was but I would’ve never thought the puzzle would be solved that way

I Was Trying It With The Broken Handgun That Can Be Found In The Car On The Bed Which Is Funny Because I Didn't Know There's Something Specific To Solve This Puzzle With 😅😂👍🏻
