This is a fabric, button, notions and vintage patterns haul from the past 8 months. Considering how often I used to do these I am pretty pleased at my progress on slowing down a bit on consuming things although I think I could still cut back my consumption by quite a bit.

Spooky Update! She's doing fantastic, she had 4 teeth pulled and they found 6 more missing, so I am really happy I had her go even though it gave me a lot of anxiety.

I grew in the 60s and 70s. Dresses were VERY short. My mother had to make sure the ruffles on our underwear matched the ones on our socks because 1) your underwear showed with movements and 2) matching underwear to socks was a thing. Good moms matched underwear and socks. I went to a Catholic kindergarten. All the girls dressed like this. Matching bows in the hair for extra cuteness points. I wear underwear that is longer than our shorts were in the 70s. The midriff was always showing in the deep south. And an opened back shirt for cuteness points. If you didn't have to lay down to zip up your jeans, they weren't tight enough. By then, the ruffles on underwear were replaced with days of the week embroidery. They were so stinking cute. This idea of modesty today was not a concept then.

Please don’t apologize for making a long video! Who says we have to watch it all in one go? This way I. Personally get to spend several breakfasts with you 😊. Love the inspiration you give us when you do a haul. Whenever I see something I would like for myself I take a screenshot. Thank you thank you thank you.

Oh my goodness, cat dental work is the so difficult. I'm usually able to keep the tears away until I'm on my way back home. He's just my everything so it's a lot. I hope you are able to care for yourself after the drop-off. As far as the cat linen piece...you may find inspiration from @afrayedupcycling here on YouTube. She uses tea towels in many of her designs. Take good care!

I'm so glad that Spooky made it through ok! I completely understand your anxiety about her teeth cleaning and anesthesia. I would have felt the same way. I love seeing her in your videos. I am also a cat lover. I loved seeing all your purchases and don't mind long videos at all as a matter of fact I prefer them sometimes.😊

Love shopping Ship Wreck. However, you are correct. You need loads of cash or a list for a specific project

Such an awesome haul! I would have loved to see you stand up to show the dress you’re wearing along with the pattern. It looks really cute!

Our pets are part of our family!! I have human children that I love with my whole being but my pets come in a VERY close second ❤❤❤❤ don’t ever feel silly for being worried about someone you love!!! Humans aren’t the only thing we love in this world

Oh this was fun!! How many zippers are in each of those zipper boxes? I have been buying metal zippers….why you may ask? I have no idea, but it seems like a good idea. I was most excited by your fabric. I loved the purple corduroy!! Please make the pantry kitty fabric into a shirt!! I love the fabric for the ironing board too!! Your dress is so nice, I love the pink buttons. The last fabrics from Ellen’s was so lux! Just a great haul! Thank you for sharing. 💕 oh….and ice dying!! I love how that turns out! I hope you show that.

The cat fabric at 34:06 would look cut to use part of it as the bib of overalls (or skirt kind) and use a plain fabric for the rest. You could also make a dress in a plain fabric and use a square of the cat fabric as big fun pockets. that might also work as a skirt

Every pattern has what is called “ease”. So three different patterns for a 34” bust might have eases of 2”(36” finished bust) 3”(37” finished bust) or as little as 1”(35” finished bust).

I play a little game while i watch your haul videos - I try to pick/remember my favorite thing till the end. Unfortunately, I lose the game as I keep thinking, "THIS is my fav!" That said, the buttons were awesome, the Japanese print is very pretty, the cat fabric for your ironing board is delightful, but the lavender floral Charmeuse! Please! I'm so looking forward to seeing all your makes. Oh, several patterns were right up my alley too. Yes to celebrating hips. 🌻🍄

The Turn-it-All is the only thing that has ever worked for me for turning straps, but even that sometimes doesn't work if I'm doing really thin straps.
I love that 60s pattern at minute 25:45! So different!

U had 2 patterns I loved but cant make out the pattern number. Could You possibly tell me the numbers I would like to see if I can find them. They were both butterick and the first one has a gold and a turquoise dress with a button detail down the bodice and down the skirt. It was size 14 and it looked like the number started as 65 but now sure. The other one had a blue and red dress on it and it had gathered gussets on the hips and was a size 14. It looked like the number was 708 but again not sure. I would so appreciate it u would take the time to tell me. ☺
