It would be nice to see you treating the fish a bit better landing net, crushed barbs to aid unhooking and putting them back gently, I know how exiting it is fishing there its my favorite haunt, but treat them gently, great video Jim . Iam still hooked on my chugbugs have caught more than any lure off the top .

Hi Stuart, there is a part towards the end where Dave and Mat discuss the lures used but basically they were mainly nailed by the Heddon Spook and the Sammy - both great topwater lures.

I'm hoping to buy a topwater lure but being only young I have a tight budget so could you recommend one good lure for general shore fishing. Thanks and great fishing.

why not use a pliers to remove hooks faster and less stress on the bass
