Who was Bob Ross?

Bob Ross was an American painter, art instructor, and television host. He was the host of the popular television show "The Joy of Painting", which aired from 1983 to 1994. How did Bob Ross's career start?

Bob Ross's career started when he joined the United States Air Force in the early 1960s. He was stationed at various bases across the country, where he learned about art and honed his painting skills. After leaving the military, he worked as a civilian contractor for the Air Force, and eventually started his own art school.
