Adobe, Maxon, Autodesk all are raising price. Maxon & Autodesk raised 5% price on Maya, 3DS Max & Zbrush. Now Adobe as well. That means Substance Painter & Designer will also see a price rise.

I am trying to shift my workload to Krita, 3DCoat, Blender & Houdini. As a freelancer I can't cope with this price rise anymore.

Microsoft has shifted their focus to AI and trying to take market share from Google. Letting Surface innovation go is similar to what they did with Windows Mobile. When it didn't translate into an instant windfall, it became less and less important until it eventually was canceled.

Per magnetic screen protector. Tried it. Well meaning, but dumb idea imo. Magnets don’t play well with other magnets, like your existing magnetic ipad cover. (Which, I would think, most ipad users use.) So, if you want to continuously re-position/reapply the screen protector every time you open your cover, (because it has removed itself, ) then fine. If not, like me, you will find it incredibly annoying.

Glad i gave up Adobe a long time ago. I'd be fairly unhappy about paying more every month for a feature I'd never use. Essentially payign more every month so other people could use AI garbage. They really are the worst.

Less than six months after paying for multiple Affinity software they upgraded to v2 and asked me to pay again. I'm still annoyed about that. I actually prefer Adobe's more predictable model, it's nicer than buying Creative Suite discs back in the day.
