Being a kannadiga myself, i opine that this is not good.
Actually any form of reservation is unfair according to me. People must be hired due to their knowledge and skills in that particular field.

U missed has to be born in karnataka too. Also, if govt doesn’t contribute anything in pvt sector, it has no right to reguate it too. Pvt sector already pays huge taxes- regulate those who don’t pay that much taxes.

For 5 yrs i worked in Bangalore but finally last year I migrated back to Noida.
There were many issues but language was the top one.

This is a good step taken by Karnataka govt..it will help other states to call IT company in their States. And this will bring down the status of IT hub where inflation is more than high to survive even in 1 lakh pm salary.

Too much concentration industry in one place is also not right and dangerous as we have already seen in the Bangalore water crisis. If industries are moving out of Bangalore to other cities because of this, I'd say it's a blessing in disguise for other cities in other states. Development should be spread in different areas and not just at one place.

I guess it's good it might reduce the population and the traffic issue and climate change which is happening due to over crowdness and its good that IT companies will move out from Bengaluru and shift to different cities to create more opportunities in different cities people.
