Decades after their legendary 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament clash, Johnny Lawrence and Daniel LaRusso find themselves on opposite ends of life's spectrum. A down-on-his-luck Johnny attempts redemption by reopening the infamous Cobra Kai dojo, reigniting his old rivalry with the now-successful Daniel. This, however, reignites old tensions and ignites a new generation of fighters.

Cobra Kai, created by Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg, is a sequel to the beloved Karate Kid films. Originally a Youtube Red/Premium series, it shifted to Netflix for later seasons. The series is produced by Sony Pictures Television and takes place roughly between 2017 and 2019.

The show offers a fresh perspective on the "Miyagi-verse" through Johnny's eyes. It explores the consequences of unresolved conflict and the complexities of good versus bad. While Johnny and Daniel remain the central characters, the series also features a talented young cast including Xolo Maridueña, Tanner Buchanan, Mary Mouser, and Jacob Bertrand. Familiar faces from the Karate Kid films, like Martin Kove and Thomas Ian Griffith, also return.

Tory has a lot to do in Part 2! How do you think she’ll perform regarding her sudden change with rejoining Cobra Kai?

COBRA KAI NATION: Tory is definitely going to have an interesting role in part 2 & I like the idea of Sam being the one that eventually breaks through to Tory & tries to convince her to rejoin Miyagi Do. The best thing that I find very interesting about Tory's character is that she's very much a wild card. We can make predictions about where she may or may not go but she's the type of character where you think that she's going one direction, but at the last second takes a completely unforeseen turn and that's what I love about her. Unlike the other characters where we generally have at least somewhat of a basic idea of where they might be going & not going, with Tory she's unpredictable and can go just about in a number of unforeseen different directions whether that's good or bad.

My ultimate theory here is it is not Kreese that killed Tory's mom like so many speculate becuase one good quality Kreese demonstrated throughout the show is he respects women but rather Terry Silver did it knowing Tory would return to Kreese and throw a major emotional distraction wrench at Miyagi Do. Silver will be returning with a new dojo under his command looking for vengeance on Miyagi Do & Cobra Kai and Tory would be high on his list after exposing him for his manipulative cheating ways. Kreese will eventually learn of this and it will lead to the fight I've been craving for to happen for so long. John Kreese VS Terry Silver in one of if not the most intense bloodiest fight of the entire series that I think will end with Silver dying from his injuries and illness. It sets up a massive conflict for Tory as she’ll learn Kreese did not kill her mom but was responsible for recruiting and bringing back Silver who was living a quiet peaceful and Kreese can defend himself saying he never knew about Terry become mentally deranged and ill

I don’t believe that Tory Nichols will rejoin Miyagi Do in part two. Just because Tory Nichols rejoined Cobra Kai doesn’t mean that she needs to have a redemption arc in part two. I honestly I get a little bit tired of everybody trying to ruin the show by saying that Cobra Kai season six part one was bad because Tory Nichols rejoined Cobra Kai. I thought that Tory Nichols rejoining Cobra Kai was interesting. Sometimes in order to understand a work of art you have to understand the author’s intentions with the story and learn to judge whether or not the execution of the story fulfills that goal. Tory Nichols is not going to return Miyagi Do during the Sekai Taikai tournament. The Cobra Kai creators said that they’re making people on set wear costumes that they normally don’t wear on set so that they can confuse the audience about what’s going to happen in part two and so that people don’t spoil the show for other people. You don’t have to take my word for it look it up on Twitter. I believe that Cobra Kai will probably win the Sekai Taikai tournament because the show is called Cobra Kai and to me having the story end with Miyagi Do winning the Sekai Taikai in part three of Cobra Kai season six wouldn't make any sense. You can’t just end a story leaving questions unanswered. That’s bad storytelling. I believe whatever it is the Cobra Kai creators have planned for the final season is going to be good but we just have to trust the process. As a matter of fact, I believe that the Miyagi Do students like Sam Larusso will probably join Terry Silver because of all the pressure that she’s facing in the Sekai Taikai tournament and because Terry Silver manipulates her. Just because Sam Larusso has always been a part of Miyagi Do doesn’t mean that she’ll stay in Miyagi Do because every hero has a dark side. Cobra Kai gives important life lessons that we have good and evil on the inside of us. Sam Larusso will probably fall from grace during the Sekai Taikai tournament because she might be seduced by Terry Silver. Terry Silver might seduce Sam Larusso as revenge against Miyagi Do for his defeat at the end of season five.

Do you think Daniel and Johnny at some point should take responsibility for Tory going to Cobra Kai in the first place? Also I am not seeing a flag on Peyton's arm so I dont think that is the tournament gi.

Another thing- I wonder how the interactions will play out between Tory and Kim Da Eun. Because Tory’s not exactly her greatest fan 😂 It will be interesting to see how she tolerates her in the next part. Perhaps she will have a different view on her if Kreese explains to her how they met?

Yet the writers stated that they’re gonna end the show how they started it, with Johnny and Miguel.

You really think that they’re gonna give Miguel Diaz just an all valley win in the first season, and now a loss to his rival and being a side character in the tournament?

If he didn’t lose to Robby in the captains round maybe there was a chance but now it’s certain he’s gonna be the star of the sekai taikai.

There’s also the interview where xolo told a fan who said he was screaming at the tv when Miguel lost to Robby in ep 5 “ don’t worry, there’s two more parts left, Miguel fans will be very happy”

That + Johnny’s name next to the old American cobra Kai logo on the sekai taikai leaderboard, plus the leaked pic of Miguel wearing the captains headband in a cobra Kai gi

With everything I’ve stated it’s pretty clear it’ll be Miguel who shines now, not Robby.

We all think Sam gets hurt and kenny joins but u say Sam just won't fight Tory again and therefore she gives kenny her spot!!! Tory could find out about her mother if she got killed and then lose on purpose or she just quits once and for all.

I don’t like the idea of kreese or silver killing her mom. I think her mom’s death was just natural death as explained in the show. Everyone keeps coming up with all these theories to try and make everything connected and it just makes the universe feel small..
