No. He doesn't care about the weight he just wants something to degrade her over. He never loved her. He enjoys putting her down and if she loses weight he won't be able to put her down because of it.

This has nothing to do with your weight, even if you lost 80lbs, he would still find fault. This is about control, he has you on a treadmill and trying so hard, like a puppet on a string. He drip feeds you affection and makes you perform for his crumbs. Sadly losing weight won’t change anything, this is not a healthy relationship. I hope you get support, counselling and have people around that tell you the truth, you are worth so much more than this.

I wd leave him, go get my own job, life and another place to live. get a lawyer and a divorce. sell the property, get your half of the money, lose all the weight YOU want, and go join some sports clubs or other clubs and get new friends, grow your hair longer, get makeup lessons, and even plastic surgery if you want! create whole new you AWAY from him. life is TOO SHORT to be so miserable!
