Hold the throttle open via the throttle body at 2000rpm to 3000rpm. Then you'll see the bubbles. if it is a head gasket starting to leak those tiny bubbles get alot bigger the higher rpms, I've had exact symptoms and it would never overheat sitting no matter how long it sat running, but as soon as it was warm and you drove aka held 2500rpm it would start gurgling and pushing coolant.
