We are a family of 5 living life in North Pole, Alaska! Where Santa Claus House is right down the street! We love spending time together as a family, having fun, learning through homeschooling, growing in our faith, and building our forever home! To answer Audrey's questions...burger, potatoes, n green beans, can also, with a few other ingredients( mushrooms,
Bell peppers, carrots, onions, cheese more!), can be combine into a dish, called a highlander pie! Similar to a form of Shepherd pie...In the winter, I make it at least twice to three times a month...changing the
" burger meats, "out, to lamb, buffalo, venison, wild pig, goat! Makes for a good change of pace n taste!

I live in Wasilla and we are totally wrecked some people down the streets window shattered and our trampoline is gone we lost our kayaks we were very fortunate to not have much damage but we sure have alot I'm so glad that you guys are doing great and I'm glad I have found somebody to relate to about all this crazy Alaska weather

When my husband and I retire in about 10 years we want to move somewhere where it snows, but that's a lot of snow !!! Maybe not that much LOL!! I have lived in Southern California since I was born (57 years ago!). this week we'll be in the 70's, with high of 79 on Thursday. While I know a lot of people want to come here for the weather, it does get a little boring and it's SOO hot in the summer. Stay safe !!

I wish my community was more like yours in that way. We got pounded with a blizzard and they had plow trucks out all night, constantly running and all I see on Facebook is a bunch of people complaining that they haven't been gotten to yet. Excuse me? These poor drivers have literally been up all night trying to plow out an entire city, on roads that you have been told are unsafe. Show some appreciation or you're welcome to do it yourself!
