Thank you! I’m making a dinosaur diorama for my grandson and these are perfect. Thank you for the acetone tip also.

I find it helps having a toothpick through the middle of pieces like this for that extra security. I've had rock piles made this way break apart when knocked over.

What was all of that terrain on top of? It looked like a desert floor mat maybe ? Did u make it yourself or did u buy it then make things to fit the theme ?

Great idea. The acetone really makes a difference in the rock texture and you don't need a lot in applying it.

Another great one to add to my crafting queue.

Awesome vid. love the desert battlemat in the final scene - any idea where it came from?

Prefer no acetone, desert rocks are typically smooth from being sand blasted. The acetone makes for great lava rock with a different color scheme. Cool project none the less!

Me: That acetone trick doesn’t work
10 secs later: Oh wait, there it goes…

I think that’s less of a chamfer and more of a bevel.

just found your channel, your work looks really good. the acetone brushing really makes a big difference in how real the rock pile looks. thanks for posting.

I like the new intro and the messages at the bottom of the screen to let you know what colors you are using. Overall the channel looks great. The rock formation is a neat idea and the acetone really makes a difference. Thanks for sharing this.

a mix of acetone washed and plain stones would also look really neat. fantastic rock outcroppings!

Fun little game. Look at the thumbnail before watching and try to figure out how it's made. I had it guessed fairly well, minus the acetone.

Regarding the table, did you make the cracked earth mat?

With the acetone, would that be viable for coral rocks as well?

Sorry for breaking topic, but I have a question about your TrueTiles product. Are they sized to match up with your handmade tiles using the double-corrugated cardboard? If someone wants to design a custom 1-1/4" tile using your method, I just wonder if that tile could be glued onto one of your OpenLOCK bases AND be at the same height as the printed tiles?
