5 yrs ago? That's what I'm talking bout. Back when the world was flat, and the earth was round as Joshua's long mule hippy hair. If I recall, Joshua grew up to even shoot his first three pointers at the end of the road in a potato basket. He was about for years then wanted to invent something called a fulharminuza. I think his friend Jimi gave him just the right encourage cuz he was a quiet boy . But oh did he come outta his shell station like a kid on a green machine. I even heard he road that trick tricycle so fast at somemusical festival that he damn near go flattened under a truckload of agave. Well Jimi saved him, and the rest is history. Playing with the likes of pigeons in local parks he had to beg for money for his own guitar. Then he sold scraps of cloth just to put bagels in his bag. In fact I think I still got one around here somewhere. I think he even signed it once when I gave him ride to school. He was a nice kid and it was rainy. He said hey mister it's too cold to walk to school today can you gimme a ride? All i gots is a bagel for lunch. I said ok. Pretty sure I still got it somewhere here. Dunno what he ever did have for lunch. Heard he went on to college tho. Smart kid. And talented with a ball in his hands. Woulda made a great hula hoopster if only put the time in. What a shame.
