Zbrush Core Mini

ZBrush Core Mini was released by Pixologic earlier this year. It is a cut down version of ZBrush Core, which in itself is a cut down version of ZBrush. If you don’t know, ZBrush is the grand-daddy of digital sculpting packages and has been around since the late 1990’s. You can see elements of ZBrush reflected in Mudbox, Blender, Modo, Maya and now even in Mobile Sculpting apps like Forger and Nomad.

Pixologic holds a ZBrush Summit every year in Los Angeles where ZBrushers from all over the world congregate to listen to studios talk about their work and also take part in Sculpt Off events.
Pixologic offers a free full version of ZBrush for download that runs for a generous 45 days, with no watermarks and no other types of functional restrictions. The trial version lets you test-drive all the exciting 3D sculpting features this software has to offer. You can get a flavour of the main program by using ZBrush Core Mini and if that is feeling good for you then move up to ZBrush Core.

This video is really a ZBrush tutorial beginners guide and I walk through most of the buttons and features that you need to get you up and running

Can you slice your sculpts to make joints in the limited version. And can you work to scale?

Hello, I wonder if ZBrush coremin's requirements for computer performance have decreased? I want to put it on the galaxy Book12 so that I can carry it with me, but the performance of the galaxy Book12 is not high, and running the full version of ZBrush is not good at all.

When this software came out, I was excited that they'd finally simplified the 3D parts of ZBrush and ditched all the 2.5D paint and the horrific, crackhead UI... But it was a different product. So I asked if I could trade my ZBrush license for a ZBrush Core license.

NOPE.
