How to Get the Anguish Weapon in Remnant 2 DLC

The Remnant II community has finally solved the biggest puzzle in The Awakened King DLC. We now know how to acquire Anguish, the highly anticipated handgun from the trailer! It didn't take the community long, compared to the data-mined Archon archetype in the base game. But the solution didn't require too much data-mining this time as people put the pieces together. It does involve a new campaign run up to Root Earth and some adventure rerolling, during which you need to stay alive.

Great job on explaining this. Thanks so much for clearing this up. I noticed a lot of creators just want to be first, and not factual. I’m an old fart in my fifties, and thanks to your explanation I was able to do this yesterday. The sweatiest part for me was doing the boss fight for the soul tribute. I had to fight Bruin, blade of the king, and just knew he was going to insta kill me. lol. The rest wasn’t too bad. Just time consuming, and trying to roll the manor.

Tip: if you doing co-op start quest with friend at the same time, you can join each other maps and quest continues. Was missing one map which one my brother had, i joined him and after we talked with npc we went back to my maps

This guns insane with Archon/Summoner!

The mod requirement being so low combined with Archon means constants uptime & with the appropriate set up the mod is like a 'mini' havoc form in terms of damage!

For the 1st dungeon, does it show on any Losomn adventure or do we need to roll the DLC itself?…I was trying to get the Rune pistol and rerolled The Losomn adventure like 5 times and never found that dungeon.

I am unsure if it’s a bug but the quest doesn’t transfer from adventure to campaign. So people end up rerolling for yeasha and he will not appear for the labyrinth. It is the same for me. The guide is useful but for those with the bug will have to have a perfect roll. It’s happening on all consoles

You have to beat the awakened king dlc first before starting this process or just beating the original campaign cause that’s all I’ve beaten and can’t get the manor.
