Sadly, I can relate to this.
My parents aren't muslim and every single day I pray for them, may Allah guide all of us to the straight path.

Im a revert, my mum died when i was 8 and i just hope she had some sort of belief in allah however small and just unknown to anyone, i still have the chance to pray my dad is guided though inshallah allah will choose him to be a muslim

My parents are non muslim, I there was a story being told about the parents of Ibrahim (as). I could feel myself about to cry so I pretended to go take wudhu and started weeping, still trying to hide it but by now everyone could see what happened.

A brother (born muslim, muslim family) came up to me and he literally said that if I cry about this it's like your not happy with Allah's Qadr.

I almost punched him in the face. Some people are so insensitive to the trials others go through.

Ooo I love this guy so much, he's a really really good son, it's so sad but also beatiful to see when he cried thinking about his father worried his father. I really wish all children are like him, love their parents very much. May Allah granted him jannah
