Tofu needs more socialization! ❤ He seems like a big time extrovert who is often just home with mama and perhaps dad too. Like perhaps being a therapy dog at a children’s hospital or elderly home, visiting the dog park, schools, etc.

Growing up we had a Golden Retriever who was so much like Tofu that it brought tears to my eyes. Whenever one of us came home, Robin HAD to pick up a fallen leaf and bring it up to welcome us with, and he would sniff with the leaf in his mouth the same way Tofu was doing with his toys.
Robin was the sweetest, friendliest dog EVER. ❤

My dog was the same way - I'd take her to the Dog Park and she'd play with the other dogs only AFTER meeting every human first. If a new human arrived while she was playing, she'd stop and go meet them. RIP Millie, you were such a good girl!

My Springer Spaniel does this, but she’s learned to pick up and hold a toy in her mouth to help her contain her (over)excitement.
Before she knew this strategy, she didn’t know what to do with her self around newcomers. When I see her almost imploding from happiness I remind her with a ”Where’s the toy?” and that gives her something to do.

This is like my dog. Other dogs are fine, but humans? HUMANS! They are everything. I love this trait. It’s so sweet to see how excited she gets to meet people and just wants to be friends and give love. It’s so pure and precious.

With Tofu being such a highly social dog, if she hasn't already considered it, perhaps Tofu's mom should really consider in getting Tofu a companion, a brother or sister, to mentally & physically stimulate him as well as keep him preoccupied while he waits for his mom to return home from work. Tofu is such a sweet, loving, well-mannered & beautiful puppy, inside & out! ❤❤❤
