Our journey begins at the main railway station, and continues to the all-wood Chapel Bridge. Together we will walk along this bridge and see its picturesque decoration, and enjoy the view of the surroundings and the Water Tower. This bridge lies across the Reuss River, which charmingly reflects the facades of its buildings, in their fresh colors after the rain.
Lucerne is a truly amazing place, inspiring a lot of people to take photos.
We will see the traditional art in the shops around the bridge, and head to the Old Town. We will be the first to stop at Fritschi's Fountain, then continue to Fritschi's restaurant, whose façade is decorated with an eye-catching carnival motif. Now we walk through the streets of the city center, and pass painted historic houses, and art-decorated fountains, to the Grain Market, which is located next to the Town Hall.
Our journey continues through Josi-J.-Meier-Platz and Mühlenplatz to the embankment with the Spreuer Bridge and the Neptune Fountain.
