Very quick and simplified explaintion;

For those who don't know:

The 20-20-20 dropkick is a technique often used in professional wrestling, particularly in the context of a high-flying or aerial maneuver. The name "20-20-20" typically refers to the execution of the move involving three key components: the setup, the jump, and the landing.

Setup: The wrestler positions themselves in a way that allows them to launch into the dropkick. This often involves getting a running start or using the ropes for momentum.

Jump: The wrestler leaps into the air, extending their legs in a way that resembles a dropkick. The goal is to strike the opponent with the soles of the feet, delivering a powerful impact.

Landing: After executing the dropkick, the wrestler must land safely, often rolling or using their momentum to transition into another move or position.

The "20-20-20" aspect may refer to the precision and timing required to execute the move effectively, ensuring that the wrestler connects with their opponent while maintaining control and safety.

It's important to note that the specifics of the move can vary based on the wrestler's style and the context of the match. The dropkick is a versatile maneuver that can be adapted in various ways to fit different scenarios in the ring.

The 20-20-20 dropkick, like other dropkick variations, involves a series of coordinated movements. Here’s a step-by-step breakdown of how the move is typically executed:

Preparation:

The wrestler positions themselves a few steps away from their opponent. They may start from a standing position or after bouncing off the ropes for added momentum.
Approach:

The wrestler takes a few quick steps toward their opponent to build momentum. This is crucial for the effectiveness of the dropkick.
Jump:

As the wrestler gets close to their opponent, they jump off both feet. The jump should be explosive, using the legs to propel the body upward and forward.
Leg Extension:

While in the air, the wrestler extends their legs out in front of them, aiming to strike the opponent with the soles of their feet. The legs should be slightly bent at the knees to maintain control and balance.
Impact:

The goal is to connect with the opponent's upper body, typically targeting the chest or shoulders. The impact should be firm but controlled to avoid injury to both the attacker and the recipient.
Landing:

After the impact, the wrestler should prepare for landing. They can either land on their feet or roll to absorb the impact, depending on the situation and the follow-up move. A good landing helps maintain balance and prepares the wrestler for the next action in the match.
Follow-Up:

After landing, the wrestler can transition into another move or position, depending on the flow of the match. This could involve getting back to their feet quickly or rolling away to avoid a counterattack.
