BPA is a project where I record guitar covers of entire albums. With BPA1, I am starting with a very influential album of my teens, Metallica's Kill 'Em All from 1983. Metallica's first effort was all about brutal speed, blistering guitar tone, and fun youthful energy.

Sometimes I forget how cool pentatonic scales might sound, just add some fine speed, accuracy, maybe some floyd rose driven tricks and you will have a killer guitar solo. Good work with all these licks, you nail'em all.

I absolutely hate Kirk’s solos but I genuinely don’t think anyone has ever matched his tone and playing style so closely.
