Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Wednesday that Russia had not "lost anything" as a result of the war in Ukraine. Speaking at an economic forum in Vladivostok, he said all of Russia's actions were designed to strengthen the country's sovereignty and were aimed at helping people living in the Donbas region of eastern Ukraine.

No losses, just special military depletions.

Imagine being one of the many Russian mothers that lost their son hearing Putin say they haven't lost anything in this war.

He hasn't lost anything, but he's gained alot: 2 new Nato members. An isolated pariah of a state. A reputation of strength and strategy destroyed. An eternal enemy from the west.

Really, what did you thought he'll say!?
"Everything is great!" is the national tagline of Russia since before the gulags.

"If we stop counting casualties, we won't have any."

At least the guy who lost his daughter in a car bomb like two weeks back now knows what Putin thinks of his daughter

Let me translate this for you: "I don't care about the Russian mothers and fathers that have to bury their sons, because i have an anti-social narcistic psychopathic disorder.". Tip: turn of the sound of this video and see how the public is in discomfort.

Just the lives of thousands of young men who were musicians, artists, writers, athletes, fathers, brothers and sons

Okay, so the lifes of all the Russian soldiers that have died mean nothing to him. Nice leader!

So the mother who lost her son now knows he was nothing.

‘Not Lost Anything’ well, that tells you everything you need to know about how much Putin values his soldier's lives. Then again, this has always been Russian policy. Troops lives? Expendable.

Sounds more like denial than stating facts. I think he knows full well how things are going for his "army".

Well, NATO gained Sweden and Finland. Technically Russia didn’t lose them.

Really? I bet the parents who lost their sons feel a bit differently.

"Yes, Of course Mr Putin"

I wonder what every new Russian widow thinks of Putin saying they haven’t lost anything. Can you imagine the uproar in the US if Bush said something like that for our losses in Iraq or Afghanistan? Now multiply that by 100 because of how many losses are happening in Ukraine.

All those dead mean nothing to this monster...I feel realy bad for all those people who have died fighting his war, to end up being considered nothing.

Basically, you just have to turn anything Putin says backwards, and you've got the gist of it.

I guess to him, the tens of thousands of his own young soldiers that died aren’t anything. Horrible human being.
