Mysterious Cities Of Gold was a fantasy animated kids TV show in the early 80s. It followed the adventures of Esteban, Zia, Tao and their friends Mendoza, Sancho and Pedro as they sought to find the fabled and legendary cities of gold in South America. Set a while after the Spanish started conquering South America, it follows historical records very closely with races like the Inca, the Maya and the (still mysterious today) Olmecs playing very important roles, and we get to see places like the city of Machu Picchu as they would have looked all those years ago.

This soundtrack is not perfect, and a fair amount of distortion is audible on a few tracks-this is because it's a recording from the vinyl soundtrack that hasn't been re-relerased in almost 30yrs!
