One year later, Ohio families facing lasting impacts from toxic train derailment

It's been nearly a year since the Ohio train derailment that spilled hazardous materials everywhere, forcing thousands to evacuate their homes. Steven Romo traveled back to East Palestine to speak with families in the area who say the impacts of the incident are still being felt.

What crap! Pro deregulation, business friendly Republicans like JD Vance. Lax standards at Boeing
means plane doors blow off. Maxing out profit by cutting corners at the railroads means trains crash.
This is what happened at Lac Megantic, Quebec. The short line railroad running on the cheap did not want to pay
overtime for a train crew to run a train full of crude oil overnight. So they park the train and walk away.
The train rolls down a hill and crashes into the town and many people died.

let's completely fail to mention that Norfolk southern insistedon LEAKING HAZARDOUS MATERIAL FROM SOUND AND STABLE CARS : SO THEY COULD BURN IT! But hey, the rail was back on track two days later!
Or that the testing done was completely incompatible to measure any of the hazards that were related to the issue. These people have been left to get sick, loose all the value of their homes, let alone their health!
