Yes, without guys, I would not be able to sleep at night. I feel like it is a very fragile antenna. So it has been up for 4 years? Do you leave it up except for storms or raise it only when needed?

Almost 4 minutes of cranking slowly, to then get zero airtime.

Awesome that is a lot of antenna. I don’t like that it has to be guyed. I have their 43 ft version very high quality

I am planning on a crank up vertical in my back yard and I will need to get it al least that high. Might you have a list of the hardware that you used to build this? Don't know where to really start. Much thanks.

Have you done any other multiband tests? How does it behave on the other bands? Did you do swr tests on each band? Would you recommend it as multiband? Do you have a remote tuner?

I think Mark with a c had his own erection he was worried about! All you ham guys wanna do is talk about your erections and show pictures. Haha.

Seriously good video. I appreciate the humor from “the rench”. I know those guys. Haha.

I’m working on my own 60’ erection for vhf so I’m just googling around.

Thanks for the video.

How you getting on with your Vertical?

I’m moving to a 2 acre plot, so this is on my shopping list.

Sorry, this video was as boring as watching paint dry! Why is the antenna so long? 70 feet, 7 inches resonates at 3.3 Mhz.

Wow! Congratulations! You did go big, therefore you don't need to go home.
You can stay in the grass, put your dit's and dah's in the air the we can hear you loud and clear here in Europe 😉
Enjoy!
Many greetings

What is the furthest distance you have reached with 5 watt and 1 watt on 80 metres using that Beast ?

Impressive Set Up Mate ⚡🙏⚡

Guying in the middle is right. Seen a lot of persons figuring 2 different levels but that doesn't always work out good in high winds. Top section needs to be flexing out of the wind being thinner. Guying near the top sets it up for buckling at the thinner sections during high winds.

DX Engineering ROCKS. That looks like quite a massive 1/4 Waver...just fantastic. Let us know how it works out for you. 73's de Your Friend Uncle Guenter

Wow, very nice. I use a 68 foot vertical wire hanging down from a very tall tree that I base load for 80 and 160 meters and I have 55 buried ground radials (very little base loading for 80 meters). Not sure what your plans are, but that would also make for a very nice base loaded vertical for 160 meters.
