one more thing to consider is that 5.56 mm ammo takes up less capacity than 7.62 mm ammo, so you could carry either more ammo or other stuff if you are using the M4

The ace32 is now my favorite gun. I always run m4 + slr because i couldnt handle the beryl, but now i can run ace32 + slr, i dont have to bring 2 kind of ammo anymore.

I've always loved the M4 but the ACE seems like a decent contender. The only real thing holding me back from picking the ACE up a lot of the time is how heavy 7.62 ammo is compared to 55. Then again, having the same ammo type for both primary and secondary's would be nice if you like to have a bolt action too.

You have not mentioned ammunition type. 100 shots of 7.62 takes the same space in your backpack as 140 shots of 5.56. Example: generally you want 150 extra ammo in your bag (at least). 150 7.62mm takes up 105 capacity, 150 5.56 takes up 75 which leaves you room for 2 smoke grenades, or almost 1 smoke 1 frag.

Beryl: Shreds and can win easily up close (if you can control it)
Ace: Sweet spot, as you said.

My opinion: More weapons please :)

Some British weapons would be great, such as the SA80 bullpup rifle, an old British Enflied rifle to use as a bolt action sniper, also the American M1 grand.

I personally think they should buff the G36C and the K2. a good alternative to the M416 and the AK of 5.56.

I knew just from playing that there was something I liked about the ace. Looks like a good middle ground between the two. One of my most used AR's with the M24 sniper.

I like the ACE, but I've found the horizontal recoil to be a bit random. It misses in sprays that I can't quite quantify, somewhat like the Scar for me. The M4 still feels far easier to control.

One problem that I found with the ACE is that you need all attachments on it to feel good. The M4 feels better than the ACE when you don't have them fully decked.

for me it depends mostly on the setup I want to run in the end. If I go Bold/7.6DMR I prefere the ACE, if I go Mini I stick with the M416 to stay with one ammo type.

One of the main benefits of the Gallil is that it is in 7.62, and will share ammo with your sniper/DMR. No need to carry and collect 5.56 and 7.62.

For me controlling the ACE is so much harder than BERYL in CQB situations - this gun has less vertical recoil than BERYL, but additional and significant horizontal recoil to it… what makes this gun really hard to control because it bounces on the screen and you can clearly tell it, cause the horizontal recoil is harder to compensate. What’s really funny is I have an impression that ACE’S recoil is easier to control without attachments- of course in some situations, not always.

As a berryl main the Ace horizontal pattern feels worse to be honest in Real fights. I still keep preferrin Berryl over any AR and if i cant find one i go to the old classic AK till i find a Berryl.

Great Video. Although I do think your analysis is missing something. It depends what how you play and how far you typically spray at things vs switching to your long range weapon. For a close up fight you are probably looking at Beryl > ACE > M416 but if you are spraying something at ~100M... suddenly the time to kill for the M416 becomes almost exactly the same as the Beryl (L2 gear) ... and of course because of the faster bullet speed and better controllability you are more than probably going to kill people much quicker at range.... So at range the chart switches to M416 > ACE > Beryl. Beryl is a better combo for a DMR, M416 is a better combo for a sniper. ACE just pretty much sits in the middle and is a pretty good compromise (but probably better to be paired with the DMR). Thoughts?

I started this game late last year, been taking buddies advice on weapons, recenrly switched and began practicing with the ACE32 and thr M24 and have turned my game around. More consistent with the ace all around. Glad to find something that supports my assessment lol
