Title: Quantifying the Heterogeneity of Functional Connectivity in Autism.
Session: Oral Session
Speaker: Iva Ilioska
Abstract: Functional connectivity (FC) in autism is marked by considerable heterogeneity (1) which poses a challenge for biomarker discovery and understanding the FC signature of the disorder. Here, we aimed to evaluate and compare the extent of heterogeneity in FC across individuals with autism and neurotypical controls (NT). We apply normative modeling (2) to quantify the overlap of extreme deviations in FC at the level of edges, regions, and networks in the brain.
