i feel like you should add a new species with your sulcata tortoises! hermann tortoise. they look similar and are just as sweet and adorable as the sulcatas! they have different breeds, eastern, or western. western is the smallest, so if you like bigger tortoises, then you can get a eastern!

also, more extra info:
they are a hardy, friendly tortoise. hermans enjoy digging and are able to climb. males are small- er than females and have a longer thin- ner tail. they become tame quickly when handled gently, and in a short time will be able to recognize you.

Most people think that just because it looks more like an alligator or more dangerous he is gonna be more aggressive, even with alligator snapping turtles having more strenght on his bite, they hunt with pacience and just wait for the perfect moment, unlike common snapping turtles that go for the prey themself instead of waiting them to approach
