1- Where do you find all this reptile news?
I work about 7 days a week most weeks scouring the internet for reptile related news. I find hundreds of stories
per week from different places all over the world. The unfortunate part is I can only pick a few per day to talk
about because of the time it takes to produce the show but I do post a lot on the website that never makes it on
the show.

2- Why is your reptile news always doom and gloom?
I love happy news, we all do but the sad fact is our community has a lot of bad news going around right now and I
dont make the news, I just tell it so its not really me promoting doom and gloom, its more like just informing you
and promoting us as a community to ban together and change the future.

3- Do you actually think you are helping the reptile hobby?
Not only do I think I am but I know I am. I am a huge supporter and promoter of the reptile hobby as well as super
pro business. I spend every single day helping to promote a positive image of our hobby to the general public, what
have you done to promote our hobby today?

4- Will you promote my site, channel, business exc exc?
Yes I would love to do all of the above but I have a strict new rule that before I allow any promotion on DRN the
person must first prove that they are doing something to help our community.

I have been providing the daily reptile news for several years now. I started it with Foot Hill Reptiles in 11/2006.
providing it via you tube as well as the FHH forum. In February 2010 we went to high definition coverage of the

@DVFDrinkOrDie Its part of the lateral pattern and appears to be right in the mid-section of that gorgeous boa. Its just the angle and the position messes with the eye.

Honestly, I hadn't heard about Ballbids until USARK mentioned their shaddy shit a few weeks ago. I can't believe that someone would try to do this with live animals. Glad to see another episode. To answer QotD: I am opposed to that sort of business model with live animals, reptiles, birds, mammals, fish, I don't care, ANY live animals.

mike wilibanks has openly said that he will not supply the business any more, i would advise people to try and get on and complain to 'ship your reptiles' who currently ship their animals for them try to lobby them to not ship animals for ballbids any more.

@LuckilyLevi That's the best way to be at this point. They refuse to answer simple questions so my position is to stay very far away from them. NEVER will I endorse a company who attempts to quiet the reptile community.

you forgot to mention how one guy won 3 or 4 auctions in the same night. 1st auction was one by one of zachs friends. its sad man. at 1st it sounded like a great idea. read a little bit more into it and the more i did, the more i disliked it. brian at bhb wrote something about it, usark as well, and so did mike wilbanks. alot of people are under the impression ballbids is affiliated with wilbanks. zach just bought the butter from mike for the auction. much respect again for putting this up!

That Albino sold for 4.87 but if you do the math that was 487 bids at .90Cents per bid. They made $443 off of the Auction. The winner pays just 4.87 wheres the owners banked 100 times that. These auctions are scams, go up by one penny but each penny bid costs 55-90 cents EACH that you buy.

The fact is license or not the main focus of peoples complaints has been a blow to the herp econ and how it will affect us negatively. As far as i see this what ball bids has done has been nothing but beneficial and i will break it down for the people who probably dont understand how this is playing out in my head. breeder sells snake to ballbids @ wholesale-ballbids sells snake for 30 bucks making 3000 - consumer gets cheap snake resells to invest in higher quality item...herp econ boost

@reptile411 - Mike has provided them with the animals they have auctioned off so far AND he has stated that he will continue to sell them animals. I can understand that- he is a business man- but I don't know; part of me thinks that if the suppliers (us breeders) refuse to do business with them, how can they continue? Until we band together, I don't believe this is going anywhere.
