Turkish was treading a fine line there for a while but i appreciate and can relate to his passion. We knew this game was gonna be tight and we weren't on it... some injured / not in a right head space? Needs a freshening up. Maybe give gabriel a break for a while put calafiori in at lcb. Partey had mistake in touches. Odegaard and rice definitely didnt look 100%. We had so much space to exploit. For me this game raya and white for me were our best players. The way the med team was assessing timber's knee ... hopefully nothing serious. He was also on point today

We had the best defence in the league last season, most clean sheets, conceded the least amount of goals but we came second to the team that had the best attack and scored the most. Historically the team that scores the most goals wins the league. We’re already behind City because they’ve got the better goal difference by out scoring us.

A good defence will earn you a point but it’s the attack that earns you 3, and despite having the best defence already we’re buying defenders and defensive midfielders. If our defence held out against Villa last season we would of got a point and still came second, if we had a proper striker we would have taken our chances and got 3 points and won the league.

Edu and Garlic should of been sacked already but Arteta is the one that has brought in 7 keepers and 12 defenders in 5 years but only 1 striker (Jesus) and 2 wingers (Trossard & Sterling) over the same time. Arteta chose to spend £70 on a CB and a DM when we all know we needed a striker and a No8. I’ve backed Arteta, but but is his squad now, he must be accountable too if we fail this season, no more excuses, no more phases, it’s time to deliver!!!

we will be a top 4 team this season, last season we were extremely lucky, only 35% of our goals came from set piece play, be it straight from set piece or a play generated by a set piece, saka, rice, saliba not getting injured, we do not have fire power upfront, havertz is not it, martinelli and trossard are extremely inconsistent

man its one game and all arsenal fans losing their asses for one result. i agree we left ourselves short in the transfer window far too many outs so are bench now looks like an under16s team, however if rice isnt sent off i still think we win the game. rice should of known better not to touch the ball but on the flip side if the ref is gonna book him for it why was it not a yellow for brighton in first half. still the issues with the refs is make it consistant. the red changed the game entirely but some arsenal fans online just use any set back to push there agenda of were not good enough. so far the only thing i can truly say negative is if we loan out lakonga, viera, reiss nelson and so on then we need to have backups but from our bench today it shows were short and should have kept some of them back for cover

Look at them angry with ref... you wanna be angry with someone? Be mad at Rice for being and idiot! Kicking the ball when someone is trying to take a free kick is about as clear a yellow card as there is, the refs always give those, Rice knows that and he knows he's on a yellow and still does it anyway... in the 49th minute btw...

Can't always blame the referees. The players and the manager must be smarter.
If we look like that against Brighton at home with 10-men, imagine against Real Madrid/City/Bayern away.

Arsenal was poor in the first half and did not look like a team fighting for the championship. The ref was harsh on Rice.
