it is a good point to note that bc there is no Legendary Breather at current if you put the infusion on to a breather, it permanently on that 1 breather so if you have multiple armor set with rebreathers (like me) you would have to by multiple of the infusions for each build.

I finally finished farming these a few months ago over the past 10-years to get the Diver's skins (they are epic) and one charcter up to +17 and another to +16. Looking forward to converting this over to account bound.

had 410 or so keys. took me 4 hours to open all of them but was able to get my +20 account wide upgrade

I'm a little confused how it works. When you buy the account-bound infusion, can you just equip it to every character like you would a legendary, or do you need to buy one per character?
I'm guessing since the other upgrades are 'services' it affects any infusions you have either way. Which if you need one infusion per character, is where the savings come in, since you don't have to buy a +20 or +25 for each char, just multiple +15's. (And aquabreathers with infusion slots.)

This exponential infusion growth was pretty fine with agony, as you could distribute low infusions around your total slots and make it to 150 without thousands of gold. This however is not fine. We have 1 slot to use with the infusion (or two, correct if wrong), making getting past +15 a nightmare even if it is account wide progression.

Im kinda mad at myself cuz ive been deleting the key after finding out they were for some chest somewhere and i couldnt be bothered with that. Well now tobsave them and use them whenever i get around to even equip my alts with underwater weapons.

1 "+15" = 32 "+10"
1 "+20" = 1024 "+10"
1 "+25" = 32768 "+10"
1 "+30" = 1, 048, 576 "+10"
Price is the same for going up by +1 each time.
I was able to complete the "blood in the water" achievement twice last night (started with 2).
I was able to complete the "dive master" twice as well.
(also got the 50 veterans WV, since there were usually a bunch of veteran krait hanging around).

I guess you would like to swim faster if you don’t have the skimmer mastery unlocked which makes you dive with it and swim underwater or you can’t use it?
I see no use for these infusions otherwise, am I missing something important in my thinking?

Is it more efficient to use the first tab to get the infusions boosted or the third tab from the vendor. I suspect the math works out the same for getting from +20 to +25 for example? tks

I didn't stack those keys, because I regulary use them to get those infusions and trade them for gold. It was already profitable, but now it's triple the price it used to be. :)
3:40 I was under the impression that you can't open the same chest twice a day. Meaning that you can do this achievement once a day max. But maybe Arena Net changed it?
