ive been using tretnion and the gel for around 5 months now and it did wonders! another big piece of advice is: BE CONSISTENT! i took a break from skincare for 1 1/2 weeks and i started to break out again. also: STOP PICKING YOUR SKIN... its a big problem for me. i stress out and then i pick my acne. ance scars last for a while so yeah. ALSO I WOULD SEE A DERMATOLOGIST BC IM NOT A DOCTOR IM JS SAYING MY EXPERIENCE! hope this helped :)

Differin is a retinoid you can get over the counter, it's not quite as strong as tretinoin but I've been using it and it has cleared my acne. Also remember to wear sunscreen when using any retinoids!

Yeah my skin dried out really bad when I used benzoyl peroxide. Although it cleared my skin practically overnight and helped with the redness, I had to stop since it was too harsh for me.

I'm not trying to undermine the video or anything! I just want to warn people with very sensitive skin like me, to be cautious when using it. I would recommend using it once in awhile or not at all depending on how your skin reacts to it. That's why they say don't use products ending with "ide" if you have sensitive skin.

I also recommend differn gel!! I also use both tretnoin and benzoyl peroxide. But, my skin is still textured, and am still looking for something to prevent breakouts. Also, make sure to double cleanse if you have oily skin!!

I literally love clindamycin. My skin used to have sm acne (not big and inflamed but sort of a lot of small bumps) and when my doctor prescribed it, i was hesitant. Then I used it and literally all my acne faded away. All i use is that prescription cream and my skin has never been better 😭💗
