Nobody else on YouTube is giving the advice that you are giving. You seem to know our questions even before we ask them. And you are giving extremely critical advice in very short clips. I think if you put English subtitles on your clips your audience will grow very substantially. And you are so humble. And you are not promoting any commercial products. Congratulations and keep it up. By the way I am 70 years old.😊

I do constant load. ( 70% of my exercise)

After active warming up,
My 2nd warm set is 50% of my constant set.

Advantage of constant load is, you will always push hard in those 8-12 rep range and will always know how kuch progress you have made.
The day I complete 4 set of 12 rep range, I increase my weight to 2.5kg and then repeat the process till I get 4 set of 12 reps and use my previous weight as drop.

In ascending load, may be your working sets are disguised as warm set and only 1-2 proper working set is there.

You will need some time for beginners ascending is better, after 6-12 months of focused training you should try constant load with drop set.

E.g for incline dumbbell bench,
I do my 2nd warm up set for 10kg each
I can do 17.5 kg for 5 sets for 12 reps.
So

Working set 20Kg each, ..
1 set 12, 2nd 10 3rd 8 4th 5-6 then drop weight to 15kg/17.5kg and do 6-12.

Day I will get 12 x 4, I will switch to 22.5kg Dumbbell and use 20kg as my drop weight
