Network topology is the arrangement of the elements (links, nodes, etc.) of a communication network.
Physical and logical topologies. Physical topology represents the way the cables are laid while the logical topology is the way a signal acts on the network media. A network's logical topology is not necessarily the same as its physical topology. In my approach today I am considering that both physical and logical topologies are the same.
I will talk about the basic network topologies, star, ring and bus showing their advantages and disadvantages. I will also talk about other network topologies.
