🤔 Does living with your parents make you a loser? #shorts

When most of us turn 18, we move out of our parent’s homes and never look back. We even look down on our friends who stay behind and continue to live with their folks.

But by doing so, WE end up paying a fortune in rent every year, whereas the friends who stay behind get to save more and can actually afford to buy a home in a few years.

In fact, in other countries, the cost of rent vs their wages is much higher than it is in the US and it’s actually common for young adults to continue living with their parents until they get married.

And when they move out, it’s usually after buying their first home.

So what do you think... does living with your parents make you a loser or is it a wise financial decision?

Let’s be honest here, staying home is great for saving money, I did it til I was 25, but staying home still costs a lot. Doesn’t cost money, but it sure as shit costs you your mental health & the ability to be in a serious relationship with someone.

I am living with my parents after graduation. I am working and would save and invest most of it. I lived a frugal lifestyle my whole life and I can definitely do it as an adult. I don't waste my money but I do treat myself on occasion but with moderation. I only have a problem with people living at home when they do not do anything productive with it.
