Welcome to Shelter 2! It's time to return to the old family tree for a brand new story - and this one includes a little visit from some familiar faces, as the deities of our Niche tribes are reborn as lynx cubs!

The game follows the life of a mother lynx, starting as a pregnant animal, giving birth and continuing in to a journey of parenthood where nurturing her cubs is paramount for survival. Shelter 2 includes more elaborate gameplay features than its predecessor, such as stamina, different types of movements, jumps and a variety of prey to kill. Besides hunting there are several maternal and hunting features, such as calling the cubs closer, smell for prey, making sure they drink water from rivers and lifting and carrying your cubs from harm’s way.

I would tread the mountain area carefully, there's a bear in it.
The bear won't attack your cubs, instead it will chase after you.
If it catches you it will take one of your cubs, however if you're lucky it won't take a cub.
There is also a polar bear in the tundra area, so be careful when you're there too

Here's a trick I learned for hunting- when you catch a rabbit, keep it in your mouth as you run after another one. Drop it as soon as you catch up to the new one so you can catch it, go back to the one you dropped, and drop it so all 4 kits can eat the two rabbits :>

Shelter 2! Ah, the memories. I was thinking a few days ago to rewatch Shelter 2 gameplays, because the atmosphere of the game is very calming, slow and relaxing, and somehow, with it being autumn, I thought it was just about perfect to revisit the series. Maybe it's because summer ended, and autumn is cooling down, and nature is settling down and preparing for winter. Also, it's always nice to enter the world of Shelter after a stressful period of time, the music, the gameplay and the story just...really relaxes the mind, and give you time to think about other stuff in life.

I was telling myself to start rewatching Shelter gameplays last week, (but I didn't so I told myself this weekend to start), but today I found this video and I was inwardly screaming, 'Ahhhh, oh my gosh, I must watch Shelter nowwww.'

there is a bear in that forest off to the leaft so be carefull. if you come across the bear just run and your cubs will follow. you can out run it if your quick.

The cubs are all about the same size and everyone can keep up, so I think you got a good chance of everyone making it to adulthood. You've definitely improved since the first playthrough omg.

Oh man.. I just tear up everytime I see the Lynx cubs! They are so freakin cute.. <3 I can't wait to get this game too! I recently got Equilinox, so this is definetly next on my list.

the lake forms a sort of fog so dont move lina will lay down and the kitties will stay with her and wont wonder of .take a bunny when you are inwolf territory and place it when you hear the wolf try not to get the babies to eat it the wolf will spare you and your babies, even if its running trough u, dont be scared...
