March 7, 2020- Me and my friends celebrated International Women’s Day 2020 at Basilan Province with 4th Special Forces Battalion, 68th IB & LGU of Maluso thru gift giving at Upper Garlayan Primary School.
To give you a background of how this school was established...
🏡 This was MNLF Camp headed by a Commander.. Military men were prohibited in this area... During the time of Col. Villaflor on 2014, he negotiated the commander of MNLF that instead of camp, why not put a school for the children who lived in this community. So after days of negotiation, the MNLF agreed to establish a school.
