Costco sells $100 Eshop card for $80. Buy that. Apply that Eshop card to cover cost of the 2 vouchers. You now picked up Zelda and Pikmin 4 for $40 each.

It's important to note that e-shop gold points expire after a year, so don't forget to use them while you still can

I think I got it the best possible way:
I had issues with my GameStop points. App said I had certain amount, my local store said I have a CONSIDERABLE amount more. So calling customer service TWICE(1st call was dropped lol!) and on the 2nd callI got it all sorted out.
So here how it went:
I had over 50, 000 points and I redeemed it for a 50$ coupon.
I get 10% off for being retired veteran.
I also used my monthly 5$ coupon.

After every time was said and done, I only paid ( DRUM ROLL PLEASE)

$8.59.

If someone can be beat that, I love to hear it lol!

Completely forgetting about the redeem system in Eshop, I had a ton stored up. After digging around and stumbling upon the unused points? I Preordered mine for 23$

I did the vouchers thing--worked out well since I was intending on getting Kirby anyways

I'm getting my copy of TOTK for $30 at launch because of my pro member points and trade credit at gamestop. I got 30% extra trade credit for being a pro member.

Getting gold points from all your physical copies too is a bonus 🥰

I preordered the game physically for $70. Im fine with it. Its alot but i believe the game will be worth it. I prefer my games physical.

I got it with the 2 vouchers clearly offered by Nintendo to mitigate the backlash of the $70 price of TOTK

I purchased the vouchers AND used my points. I had $11.50 worth of points, which I was saving to knock down the price of zelda. The vouchers are the best deal for sure.

I think you can get it a little bit more cheaper if you make your Nintendo eshop account in another region like in the middle East or south america.

The retailer I buy all my games from, and where I pre-ordered Tears of the Kingdom, sells it for 65 Euro. In fact, that retailer sells a lot of games for 5 Euro's cheaper than other retailers or in the digital stores. Take Redfall for example: goes for 80 Euro (Hella overpriced for what it is and what state it's in) in the Microsoft Store, but that retailer does it for 75

And I understand that it's different currencies and what not, but it's mostly always the same number. A game that goes for 50 dollars will also go for 50 euro, so there is no loss at all

What you should have done:

Step 1) Sign up for a yearly GameStop membership for $15
Step 2) Use the monthly $5 off anything that comes with a GameStop membership to buy a $10 Nintendo eShop gift card
Step 3) Repeat for 10 months
Step 4) buy the voucher pass

Ten $10 gift cards for $50, GameStop membership for $15, that lets you buy totk for $5 off with a bonus game of your choice

(Technically you can still do this now, but you'd have to wait 10 months)

Have $25 in target gift cards and a redcard to get an additional 5% off, also have about $40 in walmart giftcards and a walmart credit card, to get 5% back in rewards. I plan on trying target first since they're giving away TOTK fanny packs with purchase of the game.

Idk if anyone will see this but gamestop is currently having a promotion where if you trade in 2 eligible games you can get tears of the kingdom for 20 bucks

As far as I'm aware no store in the UK has TOTK at 70, even the eshop has it at £59.99 the usaul price for new Nintendo games. But you can get it cheaper I'm getting it for around 50.

I've been saving $70 just for Tears of the Kingdom. I'm going to buy the game digital and I didn't budget $100 for a game voucher, so I'm gonna be spending $70 on the game, but my Nintendo points will cover the tax.

Our town has another secret method for getting the game for free. The library can borrow games for up to like 6 or 8 weeks and after that if nobody reserves them you can just return it and borrow it again
