Perfectly understand.the.concepts but in que, 7 the ans would be 11.5 because silicon has 0.7v and hence I=(3-0.7)/200 =11.5

There was an attack on Indian institue of science in 2005

The year when i appeard for Jee😉

Silicon has 0.7V voltage so the ans is 11.7 is ans

21:40 answer c is correct (the potential barrier for silicon is 0.7 therefore net emf = 3-0.7 = 2.3
I = 2.3/200
= 11.5mA )

Answer to the HW is C (AB^—)
The session was GOOOOD and inspires NOT to LEAVE semiconductors for JEE..😊😁😎

But sir in the silicon diode question you have to subtract the potential barrier of silicon diode which is 0.7V so the net emf becomes 2.3 V and the current in the circuit will be 11.5mA
And i have also checked it from the solution of jee 2018 paper

Answer of that silcon diode ques. will be 11.5 mA because si-diode has regular volt. of 0.7V so current I=3-0.7/200=2.3/200=11.5mA

last question answer is option C also Q.7 answer should be 11.5 since its not given that diode is ideal, drop across si diode is taken to be 0.7 volt.

Ans.(C) ... AWESOME TEACHING GREAT SIR😍🤘

When they gave silicon diode we have to give breakdown voltage of 0.7 voltage so answer isn't 15
I also checked the previous years solutions

Jee 2018 question wrongly solved it's giving answer 11.5 .... Since it's connected to silicon diode it's resistance 0.7

In the first question, option d is also correct .. if we rearrange, simplify and try bringing α in the numerator we get the result

Answer of 7th question of 2018 is
I = 3 - 0.7 / 200
= 11.5 mA

21:49 time ka answer c hoga because of Vsi =.7 volt .

In my perspective, Suri sir is a superman🦸🦸🦸 and I thought I should have ever seen him before because it's already so much late. I would suggest all my friends to see his videos. This is the first video which said to me that physics also is a easy subject. Thank you so much Suri sir🙏🙏🙏

Sir the soln of question at 20:12 is wrong answer is 11.5 mA please check

20.56 ans is C bause we will consider silicon as .7v .

the barrier potential of silicon diode is 0.7V. so the correct answer is 11.5A
