How to Make a RAINBOW BRUSH in PROCREATE #Shorts - Quick Procreate Tutorial

In this short video I will show you how to make a rainbow brush in Procreate.

In this short Procreate tutorial we'll do the following to create this rainbow brush TikTok trend:
✔ Draw a black circle and fill it
✔ Duplicate it five times and turn it into a row
✔ Put a layer filled with white underneath the layers with the circles
✔ Merge the layers and copy it (you can swipe down with three fingers and select copy)
✔ Go to the brush menu and tap the + to create a new brush
✔ Go to Shape, then to edit, then tap import and select copy
✔ Tap with two fingers on the screen to invert the image
✔ Set Rotation to Follow Stroke my pulling the slider to the right
✔ Turn down the Spacing under the Stroke Path tab
✔ Go to the Apple Pencil tab and turn down the opacity slider
✔ Go to Properties and turn up the minimum size of the brush
✔ Now draw a circle (hold your pen in place after drawing the circle to use the quick shape tool)
✔ Remove the lower half by using the selection tool, select the lower half of the circle and then swipe with three fingers to remove it
✔ Fill the different lines with the colors of the rainbow!
✔ Have fun :D

ok, so for whatever reason my brush DIDN'T turn out as yours. It just did dots and straight line when drawing...even tho the preview showed it would do a rainbow. SO....in the shape option i turned the shape 90 degrees from vertical to horizontal. Now the preview is messed up BUT the brush works as it should....I thought this might help someone struggling. PS! Thanks Flo for a great tutorial on making a brush!

So, when I pasted my circles into the brush, they were distorted into more oval shape. Not sure if you have a specific setting or canvas size that you start in that stops this. Any suggestions? I tried looking around the internet, but couldn't find a solution.

It's so easy to do it in procreate I just gotta have to remember all those 15 steps making the whole task way harder that could have been so much easier to make in other drawing apps
