Saw this a few days ago in theaters, and probably one of the best movies I’ve seen. I went in not expecting it to be Christian faith related, but as soon as a verse from Job popped up I was even more intrigued. This movie was written similar to a skill set of C.S. Lewis’s work. This movie exercises our imagination of fictional settings in order to bring about a more understanding of true reality. As C.S. Lewis expresses, fiction and imagination is by no means an enemy of faith but rather brings us about to be even more in touch with reality. This movie exercises our imagination to grasp more understanding of deeper truths, and this it did very effectively. I left the movie theater deeply moved. As someone that has felt a season of darkness, I related so much to this. It paints a picture of faith, obedience, and hope here in earth and eternally despite when the world caves in. Ultimately my heart was encouraged and renewed by the love that God has for us and not to throw in the towel and to fight the good fight of faith (1 Tim 6:12). Highly encourage believers and nonbelievers to watch this movie, as I believe it to be very well written and highly entertaining.

Neil McDonough is one of those underrated actors that really should be celebrated. He took tha 2 year Hollyweird blackball because he wouldn’t do sex scenes. To see something like this out of him is invigorating. He can play a good guy and a bad guy equally well. And hats off to Angel Studios for putting out a movie in line with the story of Job

What an incredible movie. If you didn’t like it then you didn’t get the meaning of the movie. I would totally watch it again. I was in tears at the end. So glad I went and saw in the theater. Thank you to the person who paid for my movie ticket. I paid it forward. Go see it…it’s a beautiful movie.

Wow, this movie did a 360. I went in here expecting a Sci-Fi movie and found out. It was a religious movie and you know what? That was actually a really good movie cyfied. Religious, whatever you want to call it. It was a really good movie. So I'm gonna 13 out of 13 skulls at the same. You really need to check out this movie. It really gives you a message and I'm not talking about the message. That's at the end of the movie. I'm talking about the movie itself. Really makes you think and gives you a message. You're a different person when you leave so again like. I said 13 out of 13 sky.
