Focused Ultrasound and Breast Cancer: Current Treatments for Active Disease and Potential Applications during Survivorship

In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Focused Ultrasound Foundation is hosting this informative webinar to discuss focused ultrasound’s potential for treating breast cancer.

Focused ultrasound is currently approved to treat early-stage breast cancer in Europe and is being investigated in clinical trials in the United States and around the world for early- and advanced-stage disease. These clinical trials explore the potential benefits of various focused ultrasound mechanisms of action, such as thermal ablation, radiation sensitization, enhanced drug delivery, and immunomodulation.
