I don't recommend this game YET because as a game it's very limited and missing lots of important aspects...wheel support, jump, run, button binding....there is much, much more wrong with this game.
In addition to that there is NOTHING here that isn't already better in FS17 with mods....So what is the point in buying this game now? Where is its unique selling point?
My advice is WAIT and see what the devs and the modding community do with the game.
6 months from now it might be worth £25 but right now it really is NOT.

This message doesn't seem to be getting through very well and I am fed up with repeating/correcting people. A FULL REVIEW is coming where I show ALL the issues & ALL the positives.

I have just been playing this game for about 2/3 hours on a "My first farm" game mode, and I must say I rather enjoy it, but...I do notice the shortcomings. I'm missing the most common brands in the game, also in order to turn on/off lights you have to press several buttons making it a unneccesary hassle, also the town doesn't look that lively, almost no traffic or pedestrians. However it does have some mechanics that are rather nice and that FS17 doesn't have, such as when you drive onto a field it shows the stats of plough, seed, harvest percentages. Personally I think this game right now is mediocre BUT, with the modding communitie's help and the devs making a few tweaks here and there this game can become fantastic. I think this game will be well worth the 35 bucks I spend on it for the special edition once the modders have gotten their hands on it. I rather like the color pallet the game uses and physics of the vehicles are good. I still have to play some more to give a final verdict. thanks for sharing your review with us @Sim UK :D

you said it "modding community made fs17 great" so we better give this game a chance. Honestly I am very happy with it because I dont think they are trying to copy fs17. It is good in its own way. One more thing, fs17 has been around for 10 years so it is not fair to expect this game to be better in all aspects [it is better in some for sure]. For a first game they released, I am impressed and I can see a bright future for this game.

You don't have to go and collect gold nuggets!! What on earth gave you that idea. It's purely optional. I've never bothered with them. Doesn't detract from FS17. it's just a little bit of extra fun for those that would like to look for them. Come on Mike, ..hitting below the belt there I think.

I'm on the PS4 and I'm not impressed with it at all half the tatarual does even make sense I'm trying to work out how to hire workers and it doesn't even explain it properly

I own FS17 and this game on Xbox one x. I regret buying pure farming, I brought it because I enjoy the animal husbandry side in FS17 but I am not enjoying pure farming at all :/. There is headlights RB -LB under there. Plus I don't feel pure farming looks good on my Xbox one x. I guess I will wait for FS19 and the horses lol.

I threw my copy in a fire pit and burned it. (Not true) but in reality I absolutely hate this game it literally has NO mods for console it’s sad pc version is the only one that can have mods, Farming Simulator 17 and 19 have mods for all platforms pc, Mac, Xbox one and PS4 and that’s bombshell against Pure Farming. If you like pure farming I respect your opinion but I’m am pure disappointed with this game I have it for console and it’s just terrible I’m sorry if I triggered you but I’m honest.

I watched 2 minutes of this review before requesting a refund. I did not get far, but I found it boring and childish in such a short period of time.

I don't see how people have such a hard time hitting F2 on the keyboard to turn on the lights. Such a hard thing. It's better than Farming Simulator 17 when it came out a year-and-a-half ago but a year-and-a-half of mods has expanded Farming Simulator 17 compared to a brand new game in a brand new franchise. Color me shocked.

You play less than 2 hours on the first map and call the game crap. Some people will like it others won't. Instead of calling it crap you cannot just say what you don't like about it. Instead it's crap and childish. Oh, and a clone of other games. Jesus H.

I agree with you that this is a bad game but you are Wong if you think it's better than fs17 vanilla it's more like fs 2018 (mobile edition ) with better graphics you carnt compaire this now to fs17 but everyone has to start some where but grate video and honest
