You’re a homeowner and this is part of it. If you look at your survey you might find it’s your property. Keeping your property up to date and fixed is all part of it. It’s hard keeping grass growing around some of these houses due to shade, poor drainage, fungus, etc. I rent and just had to fix 4 sprinklers they broke due to age and tree roots. Welcome to Florida. fix it, be responsible and suck it up

I would never ask the neighbors for something so little, I would cover it and call it a day. Save the split for something serious and expensive if it were to happen.

Maybe the problem is when you are watering your grass. Set your sprinkler to water early in the morning so it soaks in and any over watering dries up. If you water too late in the morning or in the afternoon you will scorch your grass and plants. If you water at night it can lead to fungus and other problems (atleast where I live it does).

I’m not trying to be rude but this is a mess. You need to refer to your land survey before talking with your neighbor. Also, the broken pipe spewing water on your neighbors home needs to be treated far more urgently, beyond the fact you are going to rack up a huge water bill you could end up causing mold on your neighbors home and this video could be used as evidence to make you liable for damages caused. Homeownership is hard work, but I’d address the broken pipe first and soon.

Kyle, you need a french drain on that side of the house.
A French rain is dug down about 10 in below the surface. It should be a corrugated perforated pipe that takes the water away from your house.
The downspout you have is just dropping the water right alongside your house and it's going to eat at your foundation over time. Please either get a longer run for your downspout or install a French drain and allow the rainwater from the downspout to connect to your French drain

Owning a home is very expensive and I don't recommend buying a home where there is a HOA ... All your doing is paying lots of extra money to have someone tell you what u can and can't do

When it comes to the light switches, I recommend for you to replace all of them. Those are the cheapest decor switches they put in new homes there are 85c each look to install Leviton switches they look the same but much better quality if you’re wondering I’m a licensed electrician down here in Miami and that’s all I know

it’s your pipe. So it’s your problem. Also did your lawn guy agree to be recorded on the phone? You might want to watch out for that, especially putting him out there for the world to see on YouTube.
