Welcome to the Kirby Enthusiast channel, on this channel i demonstrate mainly Kirby products ,showing the benefits of owning a Kirby Vacuum cleaner.

In this demonstration i will be showing you how to apply the best Scotchgard protection to your recently Kirby cleaned couch.
I will be using a product i highly recommend using alongside your Kirby shampoo system.
Your Kirby shampoo contains a Kirbyguard system within the Kirby shampoo.
How i keep my furniture protected from those everyday spills is after shampooing with the Kirby portable shampooer.
I will the vacuum off with the Kirby Vacuum zip brush. to remove all the Kirby shampoo that is holding all the dirt and dust that was within your furniture.
I then protect my couch by spraying with the 3m Scotchgarde protective spray. This keeps your couch and furnishing protected for at least 12 months from the spills and joys the children may decide to spill over your furnishings after you have used the Kirby portable shampoo system to freshen up

From my findings, if you spill any thing on your material after using scotch guard, you will find it does not make the material (completely ) waterproof or stain proof as what most people think, it helps to disperse the liquid better and make it easier to remove as the there will be less concentrated absorption in one place,
I think the product is not as good as it used to be years ago like most stuff, may be they place less of the waterproof agent in or they use a different water repellent in the tin, but some protection is better than none,
It is also worth noting when using the stuff stop a few time to give the can another shake,
And when spraying rather than just vertical and horizontal face on, I give a second coat and come at my material side on this will help to cover more of the fibers as it has been hit from all angles, but this is just what I do, ,
Ive always wondered if there is a waterproof substance that can be broken down with a chemical to be able to put in a spray bottle that would do the job with better protection resistance,

Hey I have a question on my kirby sentria when the vacuum is in drive the vacuum cleaner doesn't move at all when it's on now when I put it in neutral it moves but it's hard to push any suggestions to help so I can go back to using my vacuum
