In loudspeaker design, the importance of crossover design cannot be overstated. A crossover is a crucial component that divides the frequency response (20 to 20000) into specific frequency ranges.(Subwoofer, Woofer, midrange, tweeter), directing them to the appropriate speaker drivers. The useful free software that simulates this process are Akabak, Vituixcad, Filter Solution, and REW.

Thank you very much again, this is the best content available on speaker design!

Unique content! I'm looking forward to continuing! I would like to see in more detail the design of bass horns in AKABAK

I mean yes, it's a good video for beginners. But I have to say, you are over complexing things. First of all, you talked about DSP, don't do that if you want top quality. DSPs will always decrease a speaker's capabilities, like sound stage and a lot of other things.

You also talked about the baffle calculator or something like that, dont do that. It's just better to put the drivers in a box and measure and then go from there, you also talked about the spikes in the impedance load, leave that alone unless it's super bad... And normally if it's that bad you should change drivers...

Building speakers isn't about how pretty the impedance of the frequency graph is, it's about how it sounds. Normally a completely flat frequency response doesn't sound good so you will need to come up with your own sound. And you can't forget about the cone material and the crossover point, these two are almost the most important steps of a good speaker.

Different materials will sound different, you could design a speaker to sound good for a guitar but then when the piano comes in it sounds absolutely garbage. What I'm trying to say is that, speaker crossovers kinda rule of their own and they should always be the simplest.
