I actually like this set and much prefer it to what could have been a vanilla core set. I think many underrated staples were printed here, even in the common and uncommon slot.

This set got me into magic again. I hadn't played since Urza's Saga. I am now super into Commander.

Whether or not this set ever increases in value, I love this set and it brought me back to Magic after over 20 years. I started in Revised and quit when Mirage came out and I went into the Army. These cards are a great throwback to my high school days of playing D&D and Magic.

This set just means so much to me. I remember playing D&D years ago thinking that it would be cool to have spells and monsters on cards or sheets of paper as a reference for in game playing, then MTG comes out.

I remember thinking it was a bit cheesy at first and I wanted it to be more gritty, but as time marched on, I fell in love with both.

Now, years later, we finally have the cross over I always wanted.

This set pulled me back in. Combining my love for AD&D from the late 80s/90s and the novelty and art of early MTG with legends/dark/ice age.

The best evolving wilds printed is the Bob ross version.

D and D set has a nice magic classic feel, when it comes to drafting….you know playing the game. That’s why I think the draft box is going to be a very successful product over time. It doesn’t have much for chase. In a world where chase is all the cards, so nothing is chase anymore. The draft experience of D and D is what people are going to want in the future.

Wait for Commander Legends: Battle For Baldur's Gate to see the value of AFR increases as new more powerful dungeons and other supports for AFR's mechanics happen.

I don't care what anyone says. AFR is such an amazingly awesome Magic set! I can't tell you how much fun friends and I have had playing this set! It literally combines everything we love about Magic the Gathering and freaking D&D!!!! Every card that i've used, that my friends have used, truly reflects everything we love about both of these things! Please ... fight me! By all means (not actually. I'd cry.). I love this set so much and would absolutely defend it with my life! It was a blast to play. Would gladly do so again! Makes me all the more excited for when we get the Lord of the Rings set even more so!

I think it's a Gen X thing. I love D&D. I like these cards. I wonder if full set values will go up on this product? Gary Gygax would be proud I think.
