Oh Snap 4.0 Luxe 90 Days Later

Ok here is the 90 days later on the Snap 4.0 Luxe!!! Make sure to check out some of the older videos to see unboxings and how it's going. This is just my thoughts an opinions on this product after owning it for more than 90 days.

When you extend the disc, there are two notches between the legs. They match up with the nubs on the disc and lock the disc in the open position. That way it doesn’t collapse when you have it on a table.

There's a huge issue with this phone grip that everyone should be aware about. Once you buy one, you won't be able to use another grip without thinking of this one. It's light, magnetic, sturdy, thin. This grip is meta. I've had mine for 5 months and I just ordered more for my wife and my work phone. They sell them at Best Buy now too. I'm not getting paid for this but it sounds like it.

Great product we have them on three of four phones. My son's magsafe mount wasn't working the best with his iPhone 15 car charger always falling off. Once we put the oh snap on it hasn't fallen off once. He wasn't sure but loves it now. The two other phones are pixel 8 and it works great with them.

I've had two now and the adhesive fails after about 60 days. Also my 2nd one had a little deformity in the plastic extender "web" (not sure what to call it) so it won't close flat inside the ring. I have to use my fingernail to move the little piece so it aligns to close. I'm super disappointed because otherwise I would love it. The company has been great, and sent a refund.

Thanks for the honest review, I have been using pop sockets for a couple of years and hate how it falls over when in table top mode, looks like I am going to be getting a luxe 4.0

Seeing that the grip is thinner than the camera bump, how is ur camera bump been holding up in terms of scratches? I have been rocking my phone naked with the grip but am really worried about sticking it to something metal and then permanently screwing up the camera lense.

I have a spigen ultra hybrid case and the MagSafe is very strong. I wonder if I can use the Luxe 4 without the adhesive. Maybe I’ll stop by Best Buy and check it out.

MagSafe passthrough charging did not work for me with this. It would always start charging and then charging would stop after 20-30 seconds. I always had to remove the Snap Luxe to charge the phone. Also has to be removed for wireless mat charging as well.

If you don’t like cases like me. Buy an arc case. That brand is amazing pricy but good customer service and quality. So combined with this Ohsnap case feels like a naked phone

Are you aware of any competitor products? I'm switching from android and have had the nite ize steelie magnet on the back of my phone and love it for the gym but I want to be able to use magsafe on my iPhone.... So far I've found this, a magbak case and a rokform case

did you find that the edges were uncomfortably sharp? that's how it was with the snap 3.0 that i used to have which i returned (coming from a pop socket user)

What kind of car mount/charger do you use? The one I have holds it too strong and pulls it off my phone.

The nubs are a feature, not an inconvenience, they give you an immediate guide to where the kickstand spots are, otherwise you would have no idea where to pop it out for the kickstand without turning the whole over and looking.
