Build Your Own Off-Grid Internet with Raspberry Pi!

Build this project! It's an Internet in a Box with a Raspberry Pi in 2023! Go off-the-grid It contains a fountain of information such as: medical guides, Wikipedia in any language, maps, eBooks, stack exchange, and even how to maintain a garden.

When it is powered on, it emits a Wi-Fi signal, and your devices now can browse all the data you choose to put on there. Without the actual need of the internet. Completely off-the-grid.

That's a really cool idea. I might look into setting it up on a bigger server with more disk space to see if I can download basically everything. Would be kinda cool to have on my local network.

I recommend swapping from SD card to USB boot. SD cards don’t have a long life span for pis due to powering off while read writing. USB boot is a safer alternative especially in a world end situation when power is not the best

I made mine awhile back. I just powered it on to test, but all my content is gone. It looks like its not loading any info from my external HD. Thoughts on what to do? The internet is scarce for iiab info

stock exchange? what good will that do ? value of bonds and stocks changes over time. Right? Having it on a offline device means that the information will not change there for you will be working with old information. trading with that info is more or less meaningless unless you have a time machine. just saying. Ps. i rarely get to look "smart" so when i see a chance well i just got to take it.

For windows you have to cd into the program files x86 then cd into raspberry pi folder

Lol this is my favorite thing about linux, install error? just tell linux to fix the broken install
