That's Mike Einziger from Incubus on guitar he's talking about. He's recently collaborated with a Japanese band called Bandmaid and the single was out last week "Bestie". The two bands met at Pointfest last year and became very good friends. Bandmaid opened for incubus last week too and performed the song together.
It's doing OK and worth a listen.
"Bandmaid Bestie" music Mike Einziger and Bandmaid, words Miku Kobato.
It's a very emotional song about the affection the band members have for each other. Mikey chan is the first outsider they've allowed into the studio in years.
