Exercises for Relieving Constipation, IBS Bloating and Abdominal Pain

Exercise and movement is a natural treatment for constipation and gas. This home-based exercise routine can be done daily to stimulate stool and gas movement through your bowel to decrease abdominal pain and bloating. Whole body exercises including walking and swimming are also helpful for stimulating the smooth muscle that lines your bowel to promote bowel movement.

These constipation exercises include:
* Breathing exercises for relaxing the abdominal wall for constipation
* Targeted abdominal stretches and Yoga poses that stimulate your bowel
* Abdominal massage for constipation that show you the correct technique and massage direction for stimulating stool and gas movement through your large intestine to relieve constipation and painful gas.

These exercises work well when combined with warm pack/heat applied to the abdomen before and/or after this routine. You can perform these exercises every couple of hours throughout the day when you are suffering from constipation or IBS symptoms of bloating and abdominal pain with constipation. These exercises can also help you prevent constipation when you are confined to bed or unable to do your regular exercises and activities.

I'm 13 years old and I can't express how much I wanna thank you. Litterly exploded in the bathroom lol. Especially when it's Ramadan I have the hardest stools ever. Didn't go to the bathroom for about 3 days. I feel so relaxed right now

Edit: it's been a month now. And it's like I never got constipation. It's long gone
Things that helped me :
1. Eat more fruits and vegetables
2. Chew your food really really well
3. DRINK WATER
4. Try to move more through out the day
5. Replace some meals with soup (this one is VERY helpfull)
6. Take a stool softener

And it will be gone like it never happend. You can see results from 2-7 days

I had been struggling since yesterday and it felt like HELL. I was nauseous, feverish, and weak. I did this and after 30-45mins, I went to the bathroom and it was a little easier to pass (not bad cause this is the first time I did this).

I will never forget this day. I feel like a new person. LOL.

I like this side of YouTube where we talk about stuff that really happens in real life, not be ashamed of it, and get REAL SOLUTIONS.

This is so effective! I feel bloated for almost a week now and did this exercise last night before going to bed. My tummy feels so relaxed after. This morning I drank a cup of hot chocolate and just a few minutes later I feel the urged to poop. This helps so much! Thank you and God bless you!

It worked, thank you so much. Yesterday I upped my fibre (banana on toast, more water, 6 prunes, 14 almonds and a pear). I did this exercise before bed and in the morning. After whilst having my warm glass of water, it came out!
Since covid, constipation has come out of nowhere.

thank you sooo much! im 17 years old student who had problems going to the bathroom for a whole week...i was really sad and stressed about it, so i did these exercises yesterday before going to bed and in the morning and then went for a 1 hour walk. all my problems fixed! thank you im so happy ❤️ i also do those breathing exercises a lot and the massage too❤️ ill recommend this video to my family who also sometimes suffer :(

After a serious operation, my prolonged use of medication gave me something I never experienced before. Constipation. For a while I was dependent on laxatives. Then I stumbled onto your video, and along with modifying my eating habits, I’m doing far better than before. Prior to my surgery I always took care of myself, exercised and watched my weight. Let me say this to you personally: people like yourself do humanity a greater service than you realize. Perhaps others don’t think of taking the time to express their gratitude. Do this excercise and don't do the stomach massage dryly put oil in your belly button and all over your stomach and then do the massage(let the oil sit)and afterwards drink a glass or two of milk I have chronic constipation which means that I get constipated even after I go to the bathroom so this helps alot obviously you need to eat alot of fiber, drink water and excercise minimum for an hour you can also dance or do any physical activity which allows you to move alot for and hour

Less than 5 mins. Less than 5 mins after watching this video I had a bowel movement. I’m still constipated, so I’m not fully cured, but these exercises are starting to make me realize that I probably need more exercise in my life (as well as diet changes of course). But what a success this was. Thank you so much!

oh well, I'm trying everything: eating veggies, walking, some breathing techniques to ease my anxiety and, let me tell you, it got better, but constipation is still here kicking in. I just hope this will help me, because I'm honestly tired to depend on laxatives. I hope y'all get better guys

Hi Michelle. I had constipation, more like a blockage, one morning and tried walking, drinking plenty water, but no progress. After trying to move my bowels for several hours my bowel muscles had become weak and ineffective. I had almost given up when I decided to try Youtube and found your video. I carried out the exercises and within a short period of time (10mins approx) I had the urge followed then by a successful passage. FYI - as my bowel muscles were so exhausted I resorted to the Asian style posture with my feet on the seat which also helped. Thank you so much for showing your exercises. God bless you.
